Mike and I, along with Heidi, (Zachary's BM)and Tiff met Brandon and Kristin, (Zachary's adoptive parents) at the temple to visit and take some pictures. I was bound and determined not to have to wear my boot from surgery to the temple that day and I succeeded in accomplishing that goal. It felt really good but still bad, if that makes any sense at all.
It was a great experience and was awesome to meet Zachary's extended family members. It is great to know that he will have such a great support system around him.

Zachary looked so handsome in his cute white suit and was such a sweet baby in the temple. There is nothing like being able to have the blessings of the temple in our lives.
After the sealing ceremony we were able to meet and visit with many of Brandon and Kristin's family and feel of their love for Heidi and Zachary. We were truly grateful for the kindness and love that they showed for us. We were especially grateful for Brandon's parents who were so kind and sweet to both Mike and I. They went out of their way to make sure that we felt welcome there. A big THANK YOU to them.
As hard as this has been for us, it is a blessing to know of the beauty of adoption. We do have a loving Heavenly Father to watch over us and who is there to bless us even when we stumble along our pathway back home to him.
Heidi, WE LOVE YOU! Your choices concerning Zachary truly show how very much you love him!

We later met Brandon, Kristin and their families at Firehouse for pizza. The Chicken Cordon Bleu Pizza is one of our favorites!
